10 More Days….

Well, we didn’t do much over the weekend. The weather turned a little cooler and looked like rain on Saturday. We did roll down to the end of the street and bought some fruit from a local vendor. We have plans to go on one last shopping trip on with one of the nurses on Monday. She is going to take us to a local bargaining market…..this should be alot of fun watching Joey bargain with the locals over prices, haha. He has been doing some reading on the subject.
Today, Joey and I started talking about what we miss the most from home (not counting our family or friends)…Joey says he misses his own bed and the freedom to go wherever he wants. As for me, I’d like a good glass of wine and some of Rick’s BBQ. We are soooo excited about going home we started packing today, haha.
This has truly been a trip to remember and it certainly wouldn’t have happened without the generosity and kindness of so many people who helped me and everyone who donated the funds to help Joey. We are so very grateful to every last one and will never forget this. God Bless.

Yes, & the greatest Miracle is yet to come. Thank you everyone for your prayers, & please continue to pray for Joey to have the strength & will to accomplish all that God intends for him. It qill seem so good th have you back, have they made arrangements for Joey as far as staying on track with the exercises and all and what Dr he should see here Love ya Anne

I’m hoping and praying and hoping and praying… Was working out of town last week. Didn’t get to see much, but did eat some good sushi. Cathy (aka Silver Fox) and I went to hear some music during SXSW Saturday and it was a really fun time. Thinking about you and sending you good vibrations.
