Not long now!
June 30th, 2009
Since my 6th injection I can now roll to each side 40 times before becoming tired! Also we are looking into purchasing an electric wave therapy machine to bring home with us because that will be good for me even after the 9 months. What the machine does is tence up every muscle near the pads that get strapped to each arm and leg and feels awesome. But enough about me. Brewers are in sole possession of first and the Cubs are not in 3rd, but 4th! YES!!! We are on the countdown and believe it will go fast now since I have 2 injections in one week instead of just one. Also I found my new favorite coffee drink at Angel in Us across the street when we went to the Loti Mart to waste time between PTs today. It is a carmel mocha just like home. Thanks for reading and thinking of us often. I know we think of you as well, and can’t wait to get home.

Great news Kyle!! It will get even better the stronger you get. You are right about the Brewers, but watching Villanueva try and give away a 7 run lead in the top of the 9th was awful. Can’t wait until you get back.

Hi everyone, it is so good to hear of your progress Kyle. Not much new here, although we have much cooler weather. I am sure you all are very anxious to get home. Penny I am sure you are probably all packed by now. Just about one week to go wow.

Absolutely awesome Kyle! Like so many others on here, I start my day here reading how you are doing. The prayers of so many seem to have been answered. You are so deserving of this awesome outcome.

What do you mean enough about me? That is why we get on here. Call Granny about the electic wave machine before you buy one. She may have already figured that out. I realize how boring my life is when I try to write on here. Going to cut the grass before it rains, do laundry and pick up house. Carol worked on my arms today so I can be in shape to work you when you get home.

Hey Kyle its good to here your getting better, and by the way did you see the brewers game where Looper was pitching and when he pitched it the hitter hit it, it bounced off the back of Loopers shoulder half way to 1st base and Prince Fielder dove caught it and did a summersault. That I thought was awesome. well hope you start getting even better then you are now. We’ll keep in touch. Oh my mom also says bye. SO BYYYEEEE

Hey Kyle and Family! What great news – both you Kyle and the Brewers! The last game was terrific! So on your way home are you going to find a Starbucks? Can’t believe that the 4th of July is next week. Summers always goes by fast – but this one will be a summer you will never forget. Keep up the good work and see you soon.

The Brewers are up 6-2 in the top of the ninth. Braun has 4 RBI’s and Fielder hit another homerun (20th). Coffey and his sprint to the mound is on to close it out. I am happy that you have rolled 40 times and hope you are able to get the electric wave therapy machine.
You have made it this far, not long to go. Keep Andrew and your Mom upbeat. You all will be home before you know it.
6-3 double play. Two outs, one to go. Home run Mets:(
Game over, Brewers win 6-4!!!!!!

Hey gang. Its so great to hear about the continued progress. Are you stumbling over the bags you already have packed? That ice cold glass of milk Andrew is looking forward to won’t need refrigeration this week. We’re 35 degrees cooler this week from last week’s highs! Yikes! We’ll need blankets for the 4th! — I found a coffee drink you have to try Kyle. Victor Allen’s in Madison serves up a “Chiller” (carmel mocha is my favorite). Trouble is I have to give up 2 meals to get my fix. They’re loaded with fat and calories. Really much better for the soul than for the body. — Keep up the good work. You’ll all be on your way home soon. Love, Rick

Nice to hear about all your progress, Kyle. Shirley really misses you! Her and Dave are throwing a big party this Saturday for the fourth. I’m sure pics will be taken and she will show you. Keep up the good work and the great attitude you have. Oh, by the way, Don says….. Go Cubbies!!!!!

Hi guys
Such great news. We are so excited for you. Ronda & Rayanna emailed us the other day and told us they met you. They were very impressed by you Kyle. It’s so amazing that two of the families that we’ve been in contact with about Brandon have been there with you at the same time. Well, I’m sure you’re all doing the countdown to come home. Take care and we’ll see you soon.
