Two weeks and still doing great
July 24th, 2009
We have been home for two weeks now and with all of my therapy I feel great. My arms still keep getting better and I pulled my legs back toward my wheelchair by myself the other day. I also have more energy during the day which helps with all of my trips to Cozumel and Starbucks. I just got back from the baseball field (I got soaked) where I ran into my old teacher and I have decided to teach her science class about stem cells and all of the great things they can do for so many people. It will be awesome.

Hi Kyles Parents
Great news for me that stem cell treatment is working. My son is of 7years old and is having SMA2, can you please recommend that stem cell treatment could be beneficial for him. I have discussed this thing with doctors in Australia, but they not really convinced for this treatment . Could you please give exact improvemnt you have observed after stem cell treatment
thank you, God Bless you

Glad to hear you are seeing improvements. We have been taking my SMA Type 2 daughter to the Dominican for treatments and have had similar results. She has taken up to 14 steps independently with her braces on but still does not have the arm strength to crawl. She can lift her arms over her head and drink a full glass of water without help.
Please update your blog periodically. We need to find the best treatment out there!

Hi Nathan,
This is amazing! Mrs. Pearson gave me your blog, and I am amazed at how well you are doing. How exciting to do all these things you have not been able to do in so long. I cannot even begin to imagine the excitement you and your family must be feeling. Congratulations!
Mrs. Langdon
