Three weeks back home.

November 11th, 2006

I have been home for three weeks now and I have been doing my physical therapy everyday. My legs seem to be more stable when I am transferring from one place to another. I have some parallel bars ordered and on the way to my home. I will see how much more stable my legs really are as soon as I am able to use the parallel bars. I hope that I will be able to stand up and support myself with the use of the bars. I hope that the stem cells will repair the damaged area in my spinal cord. I think that physical therapy is the most important thing to do right now. I will update my blog as soon as I do my first work out with the parallel bars.

    Hey Tony!

It’s great to hear you guys made it back in one piece and that all is well. Keep up the rehab, for sure. I hope you had an enjoyable, productive time while in Shenyang. It was a pleasure meeting you and your dad and hopefully our paths can cross again some day…

When you have a minute, say hi to your dad for me and feel free to contact me anytime you like…my email address is neilscc@gmail.com. If I ever get a chance to get down to your neck of the woods, I’ll be sure to visit : )

    Sincerely,

    Neil

    Hello, Tony!
I am a very new blogger, and I started it out of desperation, at first. But I think it is very liberating, and it helped me realise I am not alone out there. I will keep my fingers crossed for you, and send good vibes - and my heart-felt wishes for you to recover soon.
    Yours-in-arms,
    Dinko

I just read your blog. I didn’t even know that stem cell injections were available. I hope you have a complete recovery, and prove to the world that stem cell injections are a good thing.

I am partially paralized from an auto accident and have some use of my legs. I would love to get full use of my legs. I would then really enjoy life again and be a more productive person. I could get a good job to get me off of Social Security.

If all the people with spinal cord injuries were able to get their bodies back and get off of Social Security the government would save a lot money. I believe the government should pay for this research. It would be a great investment for them.

I hope everything works out great for you and keep on bloging.
