Good Morning or Good Evening to everyone else.

The doctors came in on Monday and said that Brandon’s leg muscles were stronger.  They did a reflex check and noticed improvement from when he arrived.  Also, they just left him this a.m. and they asked him to raise his legs up off the bed while lying flat, and he did it with both legs.  It looked like it didn’t take much effort, he just lifted them right up off the bed.  Before he had to pull his heels in to bend his knees and then he would pull them up.  I can’t even remember the last time I saw him raise his legs straight up off the bed.  His muscles seem to be loosening up a little so he’s trying to do more.  He walked quite a ways in his walker yesterday, before he was tiring very quickly.  He used his walker to go to the 9th floor and rode a stationary bike yesterday.  He’s never pedaled before so it took him a little while before he got the hang of it, he kept wanting to go backwards.  But he finally got it.  So we are really seeing some great improvements.  I had to watch the level of my voice when he lifted his legs up, I got so excited.  : )  Well, it’s now time for PT and then we are going to try to go shopping downtown.  Talk to all of you soon.

Love to all,

Brandon, Sharon & Tina

    Hi
Wonderfull to hear Brandon is making some improvements – can´t wait to hear more about it in the coming days. This almost sounds unreal. I think though it is important for me, Guðrún Nanna, and everybody else to keep our feets on the ground.

Very best regards to you all !

    Hey Brandon,
I talked to my mom this morning and it turns out she knows Jenna’s mom. Jenna told her to tell you hi and that she cannot wait for you to come home so you two can play together.
    Stay strong!

    Brandon,
What an amazing job you are doing. So glad to hear it’s not hurting so much so you want to get out there and walk a marathon. : ) It will be great to see you up and around when I come to Ill to see Carol, Marve and all of you again this next summer.
Be praying you improve even more rapidly in the next few days and that you will continue to work hard when you get home.
Perhaps you could come to Florida and go swiming in my pool some time.
Have a safe trip and give my love to all.
    God bless,
    Aunt Pat

    Brandon & the Grandma’s

Wow I hope this is the break though we are looking for, and is just the begining of many.

Brandon you keep working hard if you get to ride a bike like other kids and play baseball some day it will all be worth it. It might not seem like it when it hurts but running around with all of your cousins and playing will be worth it I promise you. Grandma’s keep up the good work!!! we are proud of you two also. As much as it is great to see him do well it still has to be hard seeing him in pain and or discomfort. Can’t wait for you all to get home safe and soon Love Jodi
