Hi My name is Andy. Im 21 years old and I have Cerebral Palsy, witch has similar effects of a stroke. I have been following the news about stem cell research for sometime now. I found a place in mexico that offers treatment ,but I have a tough time convincing my parents that stem cells are safe. Maybe if they read your blogg it will change their minds. Im fighting for stem cell research to, I put up a pro stem cell group on thefacebook.com and I designed t-shirts witch I have not yet had produced, but i will sometime soon. I guess i just wanted to say thanks for putting your experiences out there.

Hi Chris!

I've been reading your blog all along and I hope everything is going OK still.

Sorry to hear about your headaches, but I guess that just kinda goes along with it. I know I couldn't do what you're doing. I'd just pass out about the thought of it. Keep going strong. We're all rooting for you back here in old MO.

Hope your satellite system still is working fine.

Hi again Chris, Your blog is just fantastic. I love reading it. I wish I was there, instead of Shenzhen. Except for the hot water thing and the cold. Here it is still hot and humid, me in shorts.

At the Nanshan, NO ONE is allowed in the room when spinal injections are being done, so it is really cool that your father got to video it. Also, it is nice that you have alot of English speaking people around, as well as Jon. Here, there are alot of communication problems. Speaking to other patients here, they are not happy. As well, no day outings or lunchs/dinners out are planned with staff. Mrs. Pai sounds like a great person. I have read about her. Keep up the blogging. And best of luck to you !!!

Excellent blog. Sounds like you get much better treatment there than the Nanshan Hospital in Shenzhen, where I am. Except we have hot water all the time, hehe.
And our laundry is NOT pressed. Lucky you.

I hope all is going well for you. I (and I am sure even Brian) would like to see you walk into a Nebraska vs. Missouri football game with us again soon. As you know, this years game may be for the north title. Hope you have a way of getting the games on TV there somehow, or at least are getting the Omaha World Herald sports page on the web (not sure what the security issues are with the internet there). NU plays Texas at home this Saturday...sure would put NU on the map if we could take a victory from it.

Again - I hope the best for you, and your family.

Chris, I hope you remember me, we met at healthpoint in the pool. We talked for the longest time. I have been praying for you and your parents and the process that you are going thru. I am so happy you are seeing progress. I love the hope that your future holds. You are right though. I wish you didn't have to go so far to get the help you needed. Hopefully we will see you at the pool soon. I would love for you to met my boys soon. God's not done with us yet. Take care Chris and I will continue to do the praying, You just continue doing your part. I hope all goes will.
