October 8, 2007 – Arrived at Hospital
November 7th, 2007
We arrived about 2:00 pm at the Beijing airport and the hospital staff were there awaiting our arrival. Once we left the secured area there was just a maze of signs with peoples names on them every where we looked. My sister finally spotted the sign with “James Haywood”. We were greeted by Wendy and Diana of the hospital and they were extremely polite and friendly. We traveled from the airport by taxi to the Tiantan Puhua Hospital and it was about a 50 minute ride. Once we arrived at the hospital we were checked into our room at about 5:30 pm. The room was nice with two hospital beds and it had a bathroom with a walk in shower. The amenities included a small cabinet as a kitchenette, small fridge, toaster oven, microwave, hot & cold bottled water, DVD player, TV, and wireless Internet. About an hour later three (3) doctors appeared in the room and proceeded to perform the routine Parkinson’s neurological movement disorder and motor skill observations. Every staff member of the hospital we met was very friendly.

Hi James,
I too am a PWP and I’d love to hear from you regarding your treatment in Beijing. Thanks in advance for any feedback you may have.
