Day 50 – Monday 10/11/07
December 11th, 2007
Julia had Jay today, he was in a really bad mood, he wouldn’t do anything for his therapies or for Julia most of the day. We have noticed Jays eyes seem to be very wide like he’s staring alot, I have asked other patients here and some others had it also. It’s my birthday today, I received some season greeting cards as mum and julia couldn’t find any birthday cards. I went to the silk market with Shirley where I ordered a taylor made suit, made of cashmere, if it is nice I will order some more. It was good to go shopping with someone who speaks Chinese you seem to get things a good bit cheaper.
Jay has his third stem cell injection tomorrow, lets hope it goes as well as the second one.

Dear Jay
We hope your third injection went well.
We all hope you are looking forward to coming home next week. There is no snow in Aberlour yet, although we are all hoping for lots so we can get a snow closure day!
We have heard you have had some tough times, we hope these are all behind you now and are looking forward to seeing us again.
We have all been busy getting ready for Christmas, making things for the Christmas Fayre and learning the songs for the nativity. We are sure you will like them.
When you get home you will see that Aberlour has some new Christmas lights. They look fantastic. There was a switch on ceremony and some people from the class switched them on.
We look forward to seeing you next week if you are up to school.
Love from all your classmates.

Dear Jay,
Good luck for tomorrow and be a good boy. You are getting very good at lying still after yur injections. Its not long to go now and you will soon be snoring your head off on that plane home.Is it Monday that you fly back?
We are all thinking about you and know that Santa is all geared up for you when you get home for being such a good patient!
Mrs McCann
