TRANSLATION OF TEXT FROM VIDEO INTERVIEW (December 2005)

Wife:

In January, the disease became bad enough that he could not stand by himself. At first, one of his fingers was weak. At that time, it was thought to be a problem with pressure from the upper spinal cord. He then got had two treatments for this but we found there was no improvement and we knew this was not the problem. Then he was diagnosed with ALS. Before he came to this hospital, we brought him to Guiyang for treatment with a nerve growing gene but there was no improvement. After that, we went to Xi’an and by then he could not do things by himself like dressing. Then we searched on the Internet and found Zhenzhou hospital where Yang Bo had been developing the stem cell treatment. We decide to get treatment here. We arrived in Zhengzhou, on Nov. 16th, they matched him up with the right stem cells and began the first treatment. Before the treatment, he couldn’t reach above his eye while washing his face. He could only raise his arm if he had momentum. On the second day after the treatment, he could wash his face easily and not only can he wash his face but his legs also had more strength. On the first day of the treatment, his leg was a little swollen. On the second day, he could raise his arm and his hand didn’t shake anymore. The shaking in his muscles decreased a lot. He could raise his hand high up over his head. Before the treatment, he was afraid to walk while going downstairs. Now he can easily go downstairs and can jump up and down several times and won’t get tired. He improved a lot. Now it is the third day after the treatment. This treatment has a good effect.
