Happy New Year from StemCellsChina. This week we're looking at Spina Bifida. Sarah is from Ecuador. After hearing about treatments in China for patients with Spina Bifida her parents mounted a Facebook campaign to help raise funds for the trip. Her mother asked that 40,000 of their closest friends all send one dollar each. Enough friends supported them that they had collected the resources together within three months.
