Ryan Nolder's Improvements Reported in the US Press - Ryan received treatment at Hangzhou's Xiaoshan Hospital to receive umbilical cord blood stem cell therapy for Optic Nerve Hypoplasia. He looked out the window but he couldn't see it. "'He (Ryan) was so aggravated he couldn't see it,' said Amanda Nolder. "The return flight also flew over Tokyo at night. "Ryan looked out the window this time and he could see it. He could see lights and shapes," said Amanda Nolder. "He started to jump up and down with excitement. Just 30 days before he didn't see very far down. It was one of those moments, on the plane, when you're like 'Oh, my gosh.'"
