Condition Lachlan John seemed like a normal child up until the age of 12 to 15 months, when he seemed to start regressing back to a newborn child. He forgot how to wave goodbye, say mama or baba, or blow kisses. Lachlan has been diagnosed with moderate to severe Autism. He is unable to communicate and often has severe mood swings. When he becomes overstimulated, he may react as if he is drunk or drugged, jumping up and down and making strange noises. He often bites himself on the hand out of frustration, leaving red bumps and scars on his hands. Lachlan now attends a school for children with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities.
Course of Treatment Lachlan received 6 Adult Stem Cell transplants. 4 via IV infusion, 2 bone marrow transplants. Lachlan also received electro-wave therapy and massage.
Condition After the Treatment Lachlan seems to understand more and follow directions well. He is having fewer temper tantrums and he seems to have a better awareness of his own body. He now recognizes hot and cold temperatures and the associated pain or danger, which he could not do before. He has also started to use the toilet for bowel movements two or three times a week; before he had no concept of when to use the toilet. Lachlan is still biting himself, but not as often or as damaging to himself. His eczema improved all over his body. There are more good days than bad days now.
REASON FOR COMING TO TREATMENT: Maria was diagnosed with autism at one year and three months. Her mother Gabriela first noticed that her daughter was developmentally delayed when she was six months old. After continuing to miss the normal developmental milestones, she was finally diagnosed with a brain injury complicated by Autism. Her mother continued to take Maria to the hospital for check ups which included regular physical therapy. At 2 years old she was given an orthopedic shoe to assist in her walking. Despite slight improvements in her physical abilities, Maria’s main deficiencies in communication and learning remained unaltered. After hearing of stem cell treatments in China from other families in her country, Gabriela determined that they would be the best course of action for her daughter.
TREATMENT: Umbilical Cord Stem Cell Transplants, Cord Serum and Nerve Growth Factor combined with Rehabilitation Therapy.
Razón para venir al tratamiento: Mark fue diagnosticado con autismo en el 2004. Hasta que cumplió aproximadamente 18 meses, fue un niño saludable Doce horas después de haber recibido la vacuna triple viral el dejo de comer, comunicarse y mantener contacto visual con otros. La familia de Mark espera poder ver mejorías en su comunicación verbal.
TRATAMIENTO: (26 de Junio, 2007) 5 inyecciones de células madre. (24 de Julio 2007) 3 inyecciones en su medula espinal y 3 inyecciones IDV. Ambos tratamientos incluyeron rehabilitación física.

ANTES DEL TRATAMIENTO: Mark mostraba anormalidades tanto mentales como cognitivas, específicamente retraso en su capacidad de habla e interacción social; estas condiciones se manifestaban a través de hiperactividad y desobediencia. El desarrollo de su estado mental era comparable con un niño de 3 o 4 anos.
Diagnostico: Autismo moderado con funciones reducidas
Razón para venir al tratamiento: Ocho horas después de haber sido dado de alta posterior a su nacimiento, la madre de Mitchell noto que el tenia problemas para respirar, su nariz moqueaba y había una decoloración azulada en sus labios. Mitchell fue diagnosticado con bronquilolitis, infección en el oído derecho y se encontró que era positivo del virus RSV (Virus Sincitial Respiratorio). El tratamiento que se practico fue ponerle oxigeno en una incubadora por una semana y fue luego dado de alta después de un mes.
FECHA DE INICIO DEL TRATAMIENTO: 6 de Abril, 2006
ANTES DEL TRATAMIENTO: Mitchell era hiperactivo, tenía problemas de comportamiento tales como problemas de autoestima y perdida de atención periódica. Su desarrollo motor y físico eran normales. Su lenguaje receptivo era bueno pero bastante básico. Estaba en capacidad de seguir ordenes tales como ir por una taza o poner un papel en la cesta de la basura, sin embargo se demoraba veinte segundos en hacerlo y además haría otras cosas antes de hacer lo que se le había pedido inicialmente. Su capacidad de expresión de lenguaje era pobre excepto por dos o tres palabras, tales como mama o papa. Mitchell también era incapaz de decir si necesitaba ir al baño, decir si sentía dolor o si necesitaba algo. Solo podía mantener contacto visual con otros por cortos periodos de tiempo.
