Reason for coming to China

My right was damaged when I was seventeen. My eyesight gradually deteriorated over the years and my left eye became affected as well.  Over the 18 months leading up to the beginning of 2009 my sight deteriorated rapidly to the extent that I had only 5% vision in my left eye.  The doctors in England told me that there was no treatment available and I would have to learn to live with it.

Condition after Treatment

Two weeks have passed since returning home and I have small improvements to share with you. I now have light perception which I did not have before I went to China.  I am able to tell whether a light is on or off and where the source of the light is.  I am now feeling more optimistic about the future and am more confident about going out and about which I did not do before I went to China.  I am continuing with the acupuncture treatments which were part of my therapy in China and am also going to the gym.
