Reuben is the sixth child born to the Tan family. During pregnancy his mother had a few spotting events and he was eventually delivered via C-section. Diagnosed with non-hereditary cerebellar ataxia, embryonic stem cell therapies were not options for him. Prior to treatment his mornings began with a "Good morning, Jesus!" and then his body would start shaking.
