The patient suffered violent tremors (see video) that inhibited her ability to walk, rotate or stand, to the extent that falling over was commonplace. She required a walking stick to walk, often needing to lean on objects around her. The shaking also affected her coordination. She could hold things in her hands but could not write properly, and had to dictate any written messages to her children. She suffered from double vision. She also had problems with bowel and bladder control, including urgency of mituration that was compounded by her physical inabilities. Improvements began within six days of treatment. The patient's balance improved significantly, as a result of reduction in the severity of convulsions and a reported increase in the strength of her legs. Increased ability to walk - including the ability to walk without support over short distances - was the most notable enhancement to the patient's quality of life. Another improvement as a result of decreasing convulsions was the ability to write. Her bowel/bladder control all improved in a very short time. In the video entitled 'Improvements 2', the patient declares her urgency of mituration is no longer a problem. There was also a degree of improvement in the patient's vision. By the end of the treatment, she felt there had been several significant improvements.
