An Alliance kindergarten student suffering from cerebral palsy is preparing to go to China for a cutting-edge medical treatment not yet available in the U-S, and the community is holding a fundraiser dinner, dance, and silent auction for him this Saturday at the Alliance Eagles Club.
The Chinese treatment will involve injections of stem cells taken from an umbilical cord. Stephanie says the doctors aren't making any promises, but told the family that Braden is a very good candidate for the treatment and they are very hopeful.
It begins with a spaghetti feed from 5-to-7 with $8 for adults and $4 for kids 12 and under that include the dance from 8-to-midnight with The Players Band, which is donating its services. Tickets for just the dance are $5 per person.
