Shanan is blind. You might be hard-pressed to tell as she jogged past you on her morning exercise through the neighborhood. Lack of normal vision might have kept her from jumping behind the wheel of a car but it hasn't kept her from raising a family and taking part in many activities the sighted world may think belong only to them.
