PARENTS of baby Shirdesh Singh of Newlands are one step closer to popping the champagne cork and celebrating after receiving groundbreaking news that their child’s stem cell treatment for his eyes in China, is slowly proving to be successful. According to family members who accompanied the baby to Asia, Sun - day was Shirdesh’s third treatment and while on treatment, something miraculous happened.
Jeevan Singh, the baby’s grandfather, said, “We noticed the baby held a piece of paper in his hand and stared at this piece of paper, holding it close to his eyes. He then looked at a can Veena was holding in her hand. She moved the can about and baby followed the can with his eyes. We were still not convinced but when Tashni, baby Shirdesh’s mother, held Sai Baba’s picture in her hand and moved it from one end to the other, Shirdesh followed the picture with his eyes.
“The doctor and two of the Beike Biotec agents came to the ward and after carefully examining the video have confirmed the stem cell treatment for baby Shirdesh’s condition is working and his condition is improving. We are so excited and thankful to God.” |
